Introduction Overview Function

Due to the requirements of exhaust emission standards for National VI vehicle models, it is necessary to ensure that the exhaust gas from the engine can be regenerated smoothly after entering the post-treatment system, and to ensure the insulation performance of the exhaust pipes. Combined with appearance and durability, high-quality solutions need to be adopted for the exhaust pipes. Hualing's early exhaust pipes were made of aluminum foil and clamps. Later, due to insufficient durability, it was gradually changed to a one-time molding of the steel pipe body, and the insulation cotton was wrapped in stainless steel patterned plates. Dongfeng, Yutong and other host factories are gradually adopting this form.

Technical requirements:

1. Sealing performance

At a pressure of 300KPA, there is no pressure loss for a holding time of 3 minutes.

2. Thermal insulation performance

The temperature resistance of insulation materials shall not be less than 650 ℃; The flame retardancy of insulation materials is Class A; The thermal conductivity coefficient of insulation materials shall not exceed 0.098w/m.k

3. Durability of insulation

Equipped with a 500h engine durability test bench, the insulation performance will be tested after completion, and the insulation performance will not decrease by more than 10%;

4. Vibration durability

According to the Q/DFLCJ1063 test method, the sealing and insulation performance shall be tested after the test. The decrease in sealing and insulation performance shall not exceed 5%, and there shall be no damage or deformation to the appearance.
